By accessing and using the services provided by HM Commercial Laundry / HM Service Tech, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, with or without notice.

2. Services Description

Overview

HM Commercial Laundry / HM Service Tech ("the Company") provides commercial laundry equipment services including repair, maintenance, parts supply, equipment sales, and emergency repair services throughout New Jersey. We are an authorized UniMac dealer and certified service provider.

Services are available within our service territory in New Jersey. Service availability may vary based on location and specific service requirements.

3. Service Requests & Scheduling

Service Requests

Customers may request services by phone at (732) 681-0500 or by email at service@hmservicetech.com. All service requests should provide a clear description of the equipment problem or service needed.

Scheduling and Dispatch

The Company will make reasonable efforts to schedule service at mutually convenient times. Emergency service requests will be prioritized based on availability. Scheduled appointments are subject to confirmation by the Company. Failure to keep a scheduled appointment without 24-hour notice may result in a service call fee.

Access to Equipment

Customers agree to provide safe access to equipment requiring service. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by customer inability to provide such access.

4. Pricing & Payment

Service Rates

Service rates, including labor, travel, and parts charges, will be quoted prior to service unless emergency circumstances prevent advance notification. Rates are subject to change with notice. Equipment sales pricing is provided upon request with formal quotation.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other payment terms have been pre-arranged in writing. The Company accepts cash, check, and major credit cards. For account customers, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless a separate agreement is in place.

Travel and Diagnostic Fees

Travel charges may apply for service calls. Diagnostic fees may be charged if equipment evaluation is requested without commitment to repair. These fees may be credited toward repair work if the customer proceeds with service.

Additional Charges

Emergency service calls outside normal business hours (nights, weekends, holidays) may be subject to additional charges. Rush service requests may incur expedited service fees.

5. Warranties & Disclaimers

Manufacturer Warranties

UniMac equipment is sold with manufacturer warranties as provided by UniMac Corporation. The Company acts as an authorized dealer and service provider. Manufacturer warranty coverage, terms, and conditions are determined by UniMac and are separate from these terms. For warranty coverage details, customers should refer to equipment documentation or contact UniMac directly.

Service Warranty

The Company warrants that repairs and service work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Repairs are warranted for 30 days from completion of service, covering the specific work performed. This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

Parts Warranty

Genuine replacement parts supplied by the Company carry the manufacturer's warranty. The Company is not responsible for parts defects not identified at time of installation.

Limitations

The Company does not warrant that equipment will be uninterrupted or error-free after service. The Company assumes no responsibility for damage to equipment during service, except as caused by the Company's negligence. Warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of service completion.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's liability for any claim arising from these terms or related to services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Company is not liable for equipment downtime, lost business, or operational losses resulting from equipment failure or service delays. Customers are responsible for maintaining backup equipment or operational redundancy if business continuity is critical.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Company website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of HM Commercial Laundry / HM Service Tech or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or perform any content from this website without prior written permission from the Company.

8. Website Use

Acceptable Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behavior includes:
